My name is Lorelai Huffman. I feel that I started my writing career due to a series of events in my life several years ago. I had a job as an executive assistant and my boss didn't have a lot for me to do. So, I sat for long hours as the days drug by wishing there was an activity to make the work day go by quicker. Then during this time I had a very vivid dream which was an incredible mystery with an adventure story. I was very excited so I sat down and typed up my entire dream including climax. It was during this time that I found out that I enjoyed writing. That is how Part One Heritage (not yet published) was created. So my dream started it and the fact I had a job with time that needed to be filled opened the door to where I am today.
I have always lived in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a registered nurse and infection preventionist. When I was younger I didn't feel that I was good at anything. I couldn't sing, dance, play an instrument. I couldn't act, play sports or do gymastics. I felt that everyone should be good at something, but I didn't seem to be good at anything. Until this. I hope that you enjoy what I put to paper. I haven't stuck to just one genre because I write about what pops into my head. I hope my characters are vivid and interesting and that you enjoy going on whatever adventure they happen to be on. I hope that you smile when they fall in love and that you cheer when they catch or kill the villain.
